Naturally Nourishing for You and the Planet

Palm Greens is all about big, bold flavours made from plants. We serve up our delicious food in the form of big bowls, colourful salads, brunch plates and smoothies by day and small plates by night. We also love bringing people together through plentiful platters, small plates, canapés at feasts, parties and events, with our catering service.

Sustainability is big for us. It is a journey, and we’re constantly evolving our processes to deliver the best culinary experiences with as little impact as possible.

Seasonal produce provided the foundations for all of our dishes. It all begins with our ingredients, focusing on local and regenerative farming and sourcing only from suppliers and brands who share our high standards.

We then draw on global influences to create dishes that excite and nourish. This is food that leaves you wanting more.

 

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Palm Greens was born to fill a gap in the London lunch market.

We felt London was missing really good quality, easily accessible, delicious, well sourced, healthy lunches. Having spent a lot of time in Australia, New York and California, where this type of food is everywhere, it felt sorely missing from the London scene, and so we launched Palm Greens. What started as a lunch concept expanded into events, catering and an evening service.

Having been a private chef, Kali missed this side of things. She wanted to have more fun working with a changing menu, playing with seasonal produce, and showing a different side to Palm Greens.

While Palm Greens by day still highlights our core menu, featuring more year round local produce, the events and evenings are more seasonally led, with ever changing menus.

The name comes from our love of sunkissed flavours and feels, and our love of greens, which feature extensively on what we serve.

Kali

After training at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York, Kali discovered just how exciting plant-based cooking could be. Inspired by the vibrant food scene of New York, she came back with a fresh perspective on food. And, upon her return to East London, she shifted her focus to plant-based, whole-food cooking as a private chef. Blending her eclectic Cypriot Australian roots with East London’s drive for originality, chef Kali takes inspiration from global flavours for her menu development. 

Memby

Co-founder Memby was born in Indonesia and raised in Singapore and London. He then spent twenty years as a touring musician, developing an appetite for authentic local cuisine.  He moved on from a career in music, discovered a passion for hospitality and settled into London’s restaurant scene. Bringing his passion forbold flavours and hosting, Memby brings the vibe to Palm Greens.


About Us

What started as a lunch concept soon expanded into events, catering and an evening service, the latter born from Kali's background as a private chef and her love of working with changing, seasonal menus. 

While Palm Greens by day still highlights a core menu built around year round local produce, the events and evenings are more seasonally led and ever changing.

Kali’s aim with Palm Greens was always to make plant-based food more accessible: easy, delicious, and for everyone, without ever having to think twice about whether it's plant-based or not. Mem, meanwhile, spent 20 years as a musician before moving into hospitality, where service is the show: welcoming people, hosting, and creating an experience they won't forget.
